I'm honestly surprised this hasn't happened yet. The sad part is that other companies don't feel moved by it at all.

there are many non-deadly STDs out there and many people get them - one very common example being HPV, which causes warts. i feel there's tremendous amount of information on how to prevent getting STDs, but there's not as much info on how to deal with it realistically if you are infected. ("you got virus, there's no cure and it will stay with you for the rest of life." isn't very instructional or useful at all. many people know how not to get it, but if you happen to have it already, you feel like you are out of luck.)
i think the lack of real life education on how to live with STDs is adding to many people shying away from getting tested, because they feel their sex life would be completely doomed if they find out. (this shouldn't apply to "deadly" STDs like HIV because people know ignoring it will just kill you.)

But not HIV. You can't pass that through kissing, and even if you have herpes you need a breakout for anything really.wdlove said:I'm also not surprised by STD's and HIV occurring in the porn industry. On a recent story about the porn industry, they indicated that viewers don't want to see any protection used. It's just another example of how careful everyone has to be today.
