2 iPads-how to change the name on one of them

Okay I have 2 iPads, the original and the new one. I gave the original to my wife and of course when I go into iTunes my name of course shows on the left side of the window. (john does iPad). How to change my name to my wife's name? It's one iTunes shared account. In other words on both the old and the new iPads on the left side of iTunes device it has my name (john does iPad.) I just want to know how to change my name to my wife's on the old (original) iPad. I've already synced them separately to keep apps separate from hers.

You just click and hold (or double click) over the name of the one you want to change when in iTunes. Just as you would change the name on a song.

You can change the name right on the iPad.

Just go to settings and tap GENERAL in the left hand column, then tap "About" then tap "Name"

Okay guys, thanks for the info. I see that both ways can work. What I was doing wrong was right clicking on the device name to see if it would change, but of course it didn't. Thanks again.
