I am holding 2 iPhone 3g with me at the moment, and i find the two of them share a different display color tone.. i set the same brightness for the both of them and disable auto-brightness.. what i notice is that one iphone seems to be more white in display, and the other seems to have a darker display..

anyone have anyidea??

edit: it is very significant, like you can spot it straight away!!!

I'm holding two week-old 3G's myself and they are the exact same way. The battery life on mine (the yellower/darker one) seems to be worse than the other as well......???

May try to hit the Apple store tomorrow.

would the darker one look yellow ?

anyone had one replaced for this reason?? Any possible correlation to the batt. life?

i am doing a restore to my 1st iPhone to see if the screen would get any better(doubt it would).

dkota05, are you having the same problem as well?

We have a bunch of them and one of them had an odd, grainy look to it, like there was already a thick anti-glare screen cover on it (I checked, there wasn't a anti-glare cover on that phone :D).

If you're really concerned about it, see what a Genius says about it.

just completed the restore, and the screen is still showing a huge difference between the two!!! :(

the screen being so yellow is really nice.. :( i tried racking up the brightness to maximum on both iPhone, and you can just tell there is something wrong with the phone being so yellowish!

I'll let you know tomorrow if Apple will replace it. I also have about 4 dead pixels in the bottom left corner.

even angelina jolie looks different in both iPhone!! one is more white and the other looks so orange.. i called the apple guy and he said it's possible for me to make a replacement, but it would cost me $35...
