2 iphone backups ?

I got a new iphone and want to backup to my iTunes but I already have an existing backup from my old iphone on that iTunes. Am I able to have two backups ( one for each iPhone) on one iTunes ? and if I ever do a restore to an iPhone, would I be able to choose which backup ?
