Is it possible? I was going to sell one of my old iPhones, but considered getting another phone for business, but then figured, why not use a phone that I already have? Same data, meaning contacts, calendar, emails, that kind of stuff.

You should be able to login to the same iCloud account on both so that they use the same data.
