2 iPhones With Same Backup

Quick question for you guys. I'll be getting my 5s soon and currently have a 4, I'm keeping my 4 as an ipod. My question is can I restore the 5s with a backup from the 4 but still have them be seen as separates on itunes? Like I don't want to plug my 5s in with new apps and then plug my 4 in and have all the newly downloaded apps go onto it.

After restoring the backup on the new phone change its name either from iTunes or in the phone via Settings->General->About->Name
