I have an ipod and my dad has an ipod (both 3g) i have mine set up to my pb but my dad doesn't have his set up. None of the computer can support itunes so he can't hook it up. So the only option is to use my pb. If he formats the ipod to my pb, what will happen with mine. Will it still read my ipod. Will there be an problems without screwing anything up.

RE: 2 iPods, 1 computer

My wife and I share my computer for iPod duties. She has a mini, I have a 40GB 4G. The computer recognizes them both individually. You can individually set the paramaters for each iPod (ie maunal -v- auto sync).

He should be able to load in some of his music into your iTunes library, and then sync to his hearts desire. It won't hurt your iPod or library.

Enjoy!
