iPod 2 ipods, 2 macs, can't seem to transfer iTMS songs

I erased all the songs from my iBook last night so that I could start fresh and have my iPod mini assigned to the iBook and my iPod shuffle assigned to the iMac with different libraries. The problem I ran into is this: Some of the songs I transfered from the iMac to the iBook were purchased through the iTunes music store. They show up on the iBook but I cannot seem to put them on my iPod mini. I know there is a way around this but I can't seem to find it. Thanks for any help!

i think its because they are protected files, and you have to enter your password for the music store to move them? im no sure tho

Are both computers authorized to the same account? This is mandatory. You can do it from the iTunes Advanced menu, I believe.
