2 macbook questions

for a 13in macbook that would have been purchased off the shelf 1.5 yrs ago, what specs (revision, processor, etc) should I expect it to have?

#2- What hard drive does it take? I need to buy one for it.

Thanks for any help, I'm trying to rebuild a dead book with nothing to go on other than "the HD is dead".

1. 1.5 years ago would bring you into the first generation macbooks. the low-end model had a 1.83 ghz core duo processor with a combo drive. the two higher-end models included a 2.0 ghz core duo processor, both with superdrives (6x, if i remember correctly).

2. 2.5" sata drive.
