Long story but I have 2 MBP’s and I want to be able to switch between them on one single monitor (Dell which supports KVM)

I have a new Magic Keyboard and Magic Mouse (Bluetooth)

I’d like to be able to switch macs / keyboards quickly.

Even better display both of them at the same time on the single monitor and be able to switch between them.

I think windows does this using something called KVM.

Can it be done in OSX?

Thanks

I have my desk set up like this, with my work & personal computers sharing a monitor, mouse & keyboard. I use a twelve south curve stand to keep one laptop on the bottom (closed) and the other on too, next to the screen as a second monitor. both are plugged into the same monitor. The Logitech mouse & keyboard both support multiple devices, so when it's time to switch computers, I just select the correct input on the monitor, keyboard & mouse.

I bought a KVM a few years back (they work on Macs too) but I didn't like all of the cables that were everywhere, so I went with wireless.

Thanks both.

Universal Control sounds perfect, shame that it’s not out for a while.

I have the Apple Magic Keyboard & Mouse, will see if they support multiple devices.
