Hey everyone,

Have a pretty big predictament I hope someone can help with.

I'm currently using a dell s2417dg which is 1440p gaming monitor supporting Nividia gsync at 144hz.

I have 2010 Mac Pro with a gtx 680 as well as my gaming pc with a 1080 ti.

I would like to buy another 24" monitor to use dual screens on my PC and Mac.

My issue is trying to find a way to hook up both to each computer so I have an EASY way of switching them. The catch is when I want to game on my PC the pc has to use the DisplayPort connection, otherwise hdmi is all fine.

Anyone have a similar situation / solution?

I just made this reply to a very similar post a few minutes ago. With the full disclaimer that I'm not familiar with your machines or displays, could this KVM switch dock fit your needs with an adapter for the DisplayPort and your Mac? Otherwise, I would think you should be able to find and use a KVM switch with the applicable inputs/outputs that is intended for a dual display set up.
