How do I reformat this ?
Here is my story.
I just bought a 2 month old Mac book pro of a guy. He has all kinds of stuff on it and I want to reformat it so it's set up to my liking.
Here is the problem. He has lion on it and when I try to use the install cd that came with it , it tells me it can't install over lion.
When I boot it up and try to do a install from lion , it tells me I need the apple acc of the last person who had the computer to download it. Obvious I don't have that info. I wanna do a fresh install with the original cd and wipe it clean. Then I wanna purchase lion myself on my own apple account.
Does anyone know how I can go about this ?
