is it possible to buy a straight talk iphone 5, unlock it, then register a number via cdma then say...cut your micro sim and put it in the same iphone 5 and have 2 straight talk numbers? or at least switch between numbers by removing the sim?

Not possible. You need a phone with dual sim to do that.
 
I don't think it would work. I think CDMA enabled straight talk phones do not have an unlocked SIM, like Verizon does. Not sure, but I think this is the case.
