two part question.

1. is their a jailbreak for 3.1.2, on a 3g 32g ipod touch thats un-tethered yet?

2. whats the pros and cons? because i'm about to get a 27 inch imac and was going to get the iphone dev kit and it wouldn't work very well with a jailbroken ipod

1. Nope.

2. I'm no developer, so maybe someone with more experience can chime in, but I find it difficult to believe that the iPhone dev kit "wouldn't work very well with a jailbroken ipod". Jailbreaking really has no effect on

As for the other cons, if you haven't already jailbroken, and you ever get into a situation where you need to restore, you'll be forced to upgrade to 3.1.3 and thus lose your jailbreak.

We're all waiting for an untethered version of ipod touch 3g (mc verison).

uhrmm...the only con about jailbreaking an ipod touch 3g is having to run the jailbreak on it when it dies. there's a lot of pros to jailbreakig, such as customizations. there are a few more things you can do but its solely up to you.
