Quick question. I have 2 iPhones work and personal. Id like to get the apple 3 watch and sync it to my personal. Then I'd like to use my work phones wifi/Bluetooth to power my watch so I can stop carrying 2 phones but still get calls/texts on my watch from my personal. With lte battery low Id like to know if I can somehow use my work phone to make this work. I assume I would have to get the cell watch to allow the phone to be independent in the first place. Any thoughts?

I have the same situation but I use the built in iOS ability to send texts and calls from work phone to my personal phone. Granted I have to be on WiFi (and I normally am in a WiFi area - I WFH) but yes that means when I leave I have to bring both phones with me. My phones are from two different carriers - work is Verizon and personal is ATT.

Cheers,
B

Yea, my thought is that it is not designed to work this way. Both the paired iPhone and the watch have to be on the same carrier and the same Billing Account.

You can pair up to 3 watches to an iPhone but only iPhone to a watch to have full function with the "merged" cellular phone number and the other Watch LTE features.
