2 phones ring at same time

Hi,

I'm having quite an annoying issue with my iphone. Basically whenever my son's iphone rings, my phone rings as well. We use the same icloud account purely for backup purposes so i suspect it has something to do with that.

I've looked round the settings but can't think what it could be. Any ideas?

The setting is under settings, general, handoff & suggested apps, handoff. Basically, it syncs your calls across devices.

It is caused by using the same iCloud account and being on the same wifi. The settings are not under Handoff, but in Settings>FaceTime iPhone Cellular calls - turn off.
