[2 Qs] Transfer photos on iPod to computer / Where are the wallpapers in the system?

I'm making one thread with 2 questions instead of separate threads.

1) How do I go about getting the photos on an iPod back on a computer?

2) Where are the default backgrounds of OS X in the system?

I found this but still, I'd like to know where they are on the computer.

In your system library there's a folder named desktop backgrounds. Guess what it contains.
