Hey everybody:

1. Is there some reason why I can't open up a .exe file? Can anybody tell me how to do that?

2. I have an ibook with a combo drive. Is there any way to speed up the cd ripping/burning process? It only runs around 6x-8x. thanks.

Re: Q 1
exe files are WINDOWS executables, they will not run on the Mac.

Re: Q 2
You will probably find that the drive in the iBook is an 8x writer, if that's what it is then that's what it is, you cannot change this.
