I bought my MBP right before the processor refresh to the 2.4 or 2.5's, so I have a 2.2 with a 120GB apple(intel) ssd.
BUT...
I did buy a 2nd SSD, Intel 320 series 120GB SATA II to put in place of the optical bay. I got the drive already but still waiting on the OWC data doubler and tools to get here. I also bought 8GB of OWC ram.

some results using Blackmagic Disk Speed Test

Before the installation of my optibay SSD:
write: average 188 mb/s
read: average 210 mb/s

Heres some XBench info:

Xbench Version 1.3
System Version 10.7.2 (11C74)
Physical RAM 4096 MB
Model MacBookPro8,2
Drive Type APPLE SSD TS128C
Disk Test 324.82
Sequential 215.37
Uncached Write 316.61 194.39 MB/sec [4K blocks]
Uncached Write 276.73 156.57 MB/sec [256K blocks]
Uncached Read 109.13 31.94 MB/sec [4K blocks]
Uncached Read 379.27 190.62 MB/sec [256K blocks]
Random 660.41
Uncached Write 429.52 45.47 MB/sec [4K blocks]
Uncached Write 642.81 205.79 MB/sec [256K blocks]
Uncached Read 2242.00 15.89 MB/sec [4K blocks]
Uncached Read 579.05 107.45 MB/sec [256K blocks]

can someone compare or tell me if those are good read/write speeds, but im pretty sure it should be faster and some reviews on the app weren't that great saying "it slowed down after the update"

heres some more info:
Intel 6 Series Chipset:

Vendor: Intel
Product: 6 Series Chipset
Link Speed: 6 Gigabit
Negotiated Link Speed: 3 Gigabit
Description: AHCI Version 1.30 Supported

Also a geekbench score of 10559 before the upgrade

I will post the results after the upgrade, hopefully by 01 Jan 2012. I look forward to your feedback
