iPod touch 2 things - waiting for changes to be applied and music not available

I have found threads regarding the iPhone and "waiting for changes to be applied" in iTunes, but nothing for the ipod touch.

Is there a solution?

Also I am not sure if it is related, but on my iPod Touch (latest gen 64gb), but when I go to play a purchased CD that I have ripped to itunes. It first, skipps through the whole album, then deletes the songs and says download them from itunes.


Can someone please help me?

I think I have fixed it. I did a restore from iTunes and it synced fine. Also, there was one album containing two songs that was stopping my ipod touch from syncing. So I temporally removed them from iTunes and from here /Users/[my username]/Music/iTunes. Synced again. Fine. re put the album back and et voila!
