I basically had 1 reason to set up 2 user accounts on my early 2010 MacBook Pro.
My wife's iPhone had to synch with iTunes and iPhoto as well as my own iPad mini and iPhone.

Is there any other decent way to do that?

The 2 users seem to slow down the performance a lot. Startup from sleep takes like 30 secs and working in a shared document is hell.

In all it works well. Just really f@kin' slow.

Anyone any experience with this? How do u all set up the wife's iTunes?

I have second gen MBA 13. I have 3 user accounts. I don't see any issue with performance. As the matter of fact, with 10.9 my MBA handles work load better. I am pretty happy with it. I think, a lot has to do with SSD in MBA. I noticed that on my work MBP 17 which has regular HD, it is a little slow on loading. But, once it's loaded, it is pretty quick.
