2-way iPhone google calendar synch?

I've set up a gmail CalDAV account to try to synch my iPhone and Google calendars. Appointments that I place on my Google calendar now synch to the iPhone. However, appointments that i make on the iPhone do not show up on the Google calendar. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

Go to Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars and scroll down to the Calendars section. Set the Default Calendar to your Google Calendar.

Are you subscribed to the Google calendar as read-only?

Are you also syncing with you computer's calendar? If so, you may be entering events on that calendar.
