I've recently purchased this monitor and I am trying to figure out which VESA mount to get.

I want to get a mount that is as flush to the wall as possible, but this ACD is the model with the plug coming out of the back.

I'm wondering if anyone has experience mounting this monitor and can comment on how much clearance I need to mount it on the wall. I'm aware I need the $29 adaptor from Apple to make the monitor VESA-compatible. I just don't know which VESA mount out there is best suited for this purpose.

Any suggestions? thanks!

Along with the VESA adapter, even those ultra-thin VESA mounts should provide enough clearance for the power cord.

If they don't, you can always replace the power cord with one that has an angled connector.

Thanks for the mount recommendation. Unfortunately, the power cord cannot be replaced. It's non-removable. A single cord emerges from the back and splits distally into power, firewire, usb, and DVI connectors.

The problem with the cord is it is not very malleable; it looks like i may need at least 2-3 inches of clearance from the wall.
