20" Cinema Display issues

Hello All,

I just picked up an old ADC 20" Cinema Display (Acrylic Frame).

It's hooked up to my Quicksilver 867MHz G4, driven by a Geforce4MX (32MB VRAM). All is well, but text seems to be shadowed everywhere--that is, about 1mm below any text, I get a very faint image of the same text. Is this something software fixable, or is it just a dying old monitor?
