Does anyone know if Apple uses the same 20" display on the iMac as the 20" Cinema Display? To me, it would only make sense for Apple to use the same display as it would be cheaper for them to get 1 display from the same manufacturer.
Looking at the tech specs for both the 20" iMac and the 20" cinema display, it has the same viewing angle, with the 20" iMac display slightly dimmer as the 20" cinema display. I'm just guessing here, but Apple may of done that on purpose to save power, and/or because maybe they had to reduce the thickness of the backlighting on the display which may, or may not make it dimmer.
