3 considering you'll be protected for a year and could purchase AppleCare later. Not having AppleCare on a $2000+ machine that has parts soldered in and glued would be a concern for me. My second option would be option 2. Actually, maybe option 2 if it's not in bad condition and doesn't have a lot of battery cycles on it.

This is exactly im concerned about.
Im pretty sure im going to buy applecare

What about the 4th choice?
I know it's not retina but it's a good deal right?

It's an ok price - not the best I've seen but certainly not the worst. I think it depends what you are going to be doing with the computer as to whether you want retina or not....

I don't need a retina screen.
But i have heard that it's getting cooler than cMBP and the speakers quality is better than cMBP.

I don't mind both cMBP & rMBP though. I just want to get the one that is worth the money.

I'm new for Macbook pro. It's going to be my first MBP.

So for the choice 4.. What price i should ask to the seller? We are negociating right now.
Is it worth my money if I get choice 4 with $1700 instead of rmbp choice 2 and3?

Thanks in advance

Didn't see that part about no Applecare. Choice 3 then.

Hahaha the 4th one is from the pushy seller

None. If they are from the same the seller that is pushing to buy right away.

----------

Btw, i talked with the 1st choice seller about the warranty. This is what she said, "Sorry I was misinformed. When you go to the apple to check warrenty status it doesn't bring up any results because the unit is brand new and has never been used or activated. Once you purchace the laptop from me the invoice you get should be your proof of purchase if needed. This model of macbook I don't believe has even been out for a full year anyway so you should be good."

Do you think i can trust her about this? I never heard such a circumstance like this before

You said choice one is used. Is it new?

It lists as used, but i think the seller used only for a day (only get 1 battery cycle) and decided to sell it.

Btw, i asked her for $1900 and she agrees with the price.

But i dont quite sure about the warranty circumstance. Is it possible like that?

#1 for $1,900 is the best choice.

#3 would be my 2nd choice. (if it's new and you need parallels)

#2 would be my 3rd choice

#4 STAY AWAY

It's more likely that it was just never taken off the charger, meaning the battery could have issues (batteries want to be exercised).

Hahaha okay, i will stay away for choice 4

What about the warranty thing?
I thought when you buy a laptop from apple store or online, you will automically get 1 year warranty without registered or 1st timeturn on the laptop...

This is what she said about the warranty

why dont u buy a brand new one off the apple education store.

yes its a sltight bit more, but ur spending over 2k seriously

i said the same damned thing in your other thread!!!

If i buy from apple with this spec, it's gonna cost me more than 2,300 (not include tax yet)
I want to buy at apple website too, but man.. Those taxes that add up are killing me. Actually my budget is $1800. So im already above the budget.

buy the base model. unless your actually going to do intensive stuff, you'll never take advantageof the higher processor

spend that extra for brand new, with full warranty support.

its stupid to buy used which marginal difference between new
