Hi. I have an old MS Office X program (2001) and have upgraded to 10.6 OS X and new Epson multi function printer. Now, my office documents won't print. I can prepare them and view them but when i try to print there is an error message that the program cannot connect with the printer. I've tried downloading updates to Word, and drivers to the printer. Is the Office program just too old for current technology?

Word and OS 10.6

I am having the same issue. Did you find a solution other than having to purchase new Office software?

I'm assuming you mean Office X, and not Office 2001, since Office 2001 was a Classic program.

Can you print from other apps (say, TextEdit) on the same computer?

Can you print the documents to PDF files from Office?

...and then print those PDFs to paper...?
