2006 iMac - TINKING

my iMac has developed an intermittent "Tink" should. Maybe every 5 minutes or so. What is it? anything to worry about?

I havent been able to pinpoint a particular action or time when it does it, it appears to be totally random.

Could be the fan or the hard drive.

My advice is if you don't have a backup, make one. Better yet, make 2.
