Hi,

I was wondering if a 2006 iTunes installation CD will work on my PowerMac G4 running OS X Panther.

Thanks.

Thanks.

Looking at the box for my 5th gen iPod 60GB (late 2005, bought Feb 2006) it says minimum of OSX 10.3.9 on it, so I'm assuming the enclosed CD with iTunes on it will install on Panther. There's no version number of iTunes stamped on the disc, just 'iPod+iTunes' and the date 2005 in amongst the copyright and legal blurb.

Not to mention that circa 2006 Tiger was the current OSX version, making Panther n-1 so I'd have thought any versions of iTunes in 2006 would install on Panther ok.
