Anyone with a 2006 Macbook Pro with an 80GB Intel X25-M SSD installed?

I am looking for benchmarks as all the test results I have seen are on Macs with SATA 3 Gbit/s

Benches I've seen with the X25-M installed on Mac does not saturate the SATA 3 Gbit/s link. Having said that I hope that on a SATA 1.5 Gbit/s link it does hit 150MB/s reads and writes.

I get this rate with my PNY XLR8 (SATA III). However, it's installed on a SATAII/USB3 enclosure and the PNY only works at SATAI or SATAIII, so it downrates to 1.5Gbps.

Thansk for the reply brdeveloper.

I was wondering how a 80GB Intel X25-M SSD will perform on a SATA 1.5 Gbit/s link Mac like my 2006 Macbook Pro

I have a 2006 MBP with a Crucial M4 SSD which is SATA3.

On the SATA1 bus it delivers 129MB/s write 135MB/s read.
