My CD MacBook trackpad button is starting to feel a little weird in the middle, sometimes not even accepting a click. My battery was bulging and I replaced it (paid for it, didn't think to try my luck at getting a free one).

I recently had my top case replaced, back in early April. Do you think this is covered under warranty of that or is there something I can do myself to repair it? If I take the battery out, I can see a button thing and may be able to adjust it, but not sure what is needed.

Any suggestions on what I should do?

You have a 90-day warranty on the top case you had replaced... unless it starts cracking too. Yes, take it back ASAP.

I had this problem wih my BlackBook a few years ago; try to clean around the trackpad and the buttons. Mine had dirt accumulate under the trackpad, forcing it not to recognize clicks. That cleaning solved my problem. Good luck!
