Interesting thing going on here. I'm not too worried about it because my replacement is here and this computer is going back to Applecare anyway.

The machine came back last week and one of the things they fixed was the bottom case. The last couple of days ... the battery has been bulging out more and more each day. Curious if anyone knows what's going on.

I've attached a couple of bad iPhone pics if it helps.

It's a bad battery. Mine started to bulge about 4 months ago, so I just took the computer in and they replaced it no problems.

Although I didn't notice the bulging as much as the trackpad button not clicking since the battery was expanding both ways.

Now I really don't feel bad about insisting on a replacement MBP. The thing went in for a bad LCD and keyboard backlight. They changed 7 other major components and it now has problems it never had! This bulge didn't start until Applecare sent it back to me 'fixed'
