Hey all... I was given a 2007 iMac (MA877LL/A) to fix because the display wasn't working. After seeing that all of the plugs for the display were disconnected, I connected everything, then when it booted, realized that the hard drive was missing. So since no one knows where it went, I'd like to throw a drive in there, but I don't have the hard drive bracket or the screws/pins that go into the hard drive mount holes.

Does anyone know where I can get the hardware? I can't seem to find anyone that has them for sale.

Thanks.

I hate to say this, but my 2007 imac has a SSD I installed; the smaller hard drive didn't fit the bracket so I opted for...
DUCT TAPE.

I hope that helps.

I was actually going to go the duct tape route, it's not like it's a new iMac... but I dug some more and found a bracket on eBay for $11. I could have stayed with duct tape, but figured why not go original...

I think it also gives slightly better heat dissipation than duct tape. Plus it might minimise movement which matters for HDDs, obviously not really SSDs.
