I was recently given a 2007 20" iMac that doesn't power on or show any activity when powered on. I'm in the process of getting suction cups so I can tear the iMac apart. Is there anything I should check before actually taking the PC apart?

I have a feeling that it is either the PSU or the Motherboard. I removed the RAM and re-seated it with no luck.

Thanks,

-Taylor

Just so you know, virtually the smallest and weakest of suction cups will work. heck, I used my gf's loofa (sp?) to get mine off, you only need 1.

Thanks for the heads up guys. I'm going to take it apart tomorrow and hopefully document my findings.
