I was thinking and was wondering if anybody made a EL Captain install cd for the first gen mac pro. I read the forums how to install EL Captain on the first intel mac pros. Mine is a early 2007 mac pro. I think if there was a install cd or even a install usb for people who can't understand how to do it. I got Mac OS 10.7 running and using pale moon as my browser. it all works fine. There is a few programs i like but need Mac OS 10.11. I was thinking of getting a 2008 mac pro motherboard and putting t in here. Part of me would like to keep it as original as i can. Well if this a install cd out there let me know. If not its ok. Thanks for the help.

Apple sold macOS X Snow Leopard 10.6.3 on DVD. Don't know if you still can order it.
It was the last macOS version Apple sold on DVD.
I purchased mine March 22 2017, for my Mac pro 3.1 (2008).

Get the full dmg file from the below video, link to download included. I post the video to credit the creator of that file.
You will need a working drive of 10.7, and a blank drive to restore the dmg file to.
