Hey everyone,

I currently have the following mac:

mid 2007 15 inch Macbook Pro 2.4 Ghz Intel Core 2 duo 4gb 667 mHz DDR2 SDRAM running Mac OS X 10.6.4

and I have my camera:

60d Canon DSLR

I recorded video on HD on my DSLR and tried editing it in my Macbook Pro using Final Cut Pro and it seems like im having a problem.

I used to capture the normal video cam recordings I could and edit it. BUt with HD video it seems like its harder to do so. I can drag the video clip to final cut pro but when viewing it, the video jumps and does not play smoothly.

Any idea what to do either with the HD video I have or the Laptop I have?
If you have any insights I would be very grateful. And if I left out any details needed so that you can answer my query, just ask away and I'd be happy to provide info.

Thanks!
