I've started completely reinstalling my 2007 MacBook Pro to factory settings. I have the two original install discs.
Everything was going fine - disc 1 did it's thing and then it's asked for disc 2. However every time I insert disc 2 it does nothing, and more often than not spits the disc back out after a min or so.
I've tried rebooting, re-installing disc 1 again, waiting a day, etc... not luck.
So I'm now looking at what other options I have - can anyone help?
I have access to other computers to download onto, and external drives I can plugin if that helps. Happy to re-buy software if that would work? Any thoughts?
