2007 macbook screen connection problem. Any help?

Hi there:

I have an old macbook pro (2007) running ubuntu, but the screen connector, seems to be loose. Am I right? What do you think should I do in order to fix it? I checked the connections inside (the keyboard part), but not in the screen part. Screen hinge seems to be ok.

What model is shown when you open "About This Mac"? That doesn't look like a 2007.

I think the 2008 was the first aluminum MacBook with a black bezel.

Based on the video, I think it's a loose connection.

Its an a1278 maybe 2008, sorry. I can't check the exact model (it has Ubuntu install so there is no About this mac)

Looks like my 2008 MacBook (not Pro).

Read up on how to check the display cable connections. iFixit has instructions on how to replace it and you can do that if the connections check out OK.

BTW I'm running Sierra on mine with the "unsupported" method shown in these forums.
