2007 MBP logic board in Late 2006 MBP?

I haven't been able to find much but was just seeing out there if anyone has done a logic board swap and have it working. I wanted to get a parts 2007 model so that way I could fix up my late 2006 and get things like the option to Run ML/Mavericks among fixing my MagSafe adapter and so on.

I can't answer for sure but apple changes things up enough from year to year that a prior year logic board will not fit a new year enclosure, i.e., 2007 logic board into a 2006 case.

It *might* be possible, but you will need the entire thermal system as well.

I'll go ahead and buy it. $50 shouldn't be too bad. I'll post updates when I get to it!

it won't work,the backlight connector is different.
