I'm gonna try and sell my 2007 MacBook Pro so that I can upgrade to a new iMac. I will ABSOLUTELY NOT be taking offers from this forum, but what better place to get advice, no?

Here are the specs:
Model A1211
2.33 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
3 GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM
ATI Radeon X1600 256 MB
Upgraded 500 GB Hard Drive
Cosmetically near perfect (minus some wear on the front "unlatch" button)
New magsafe power brick
Battery is old and doesn't keep a good charge (maybe 1 hour)
Lion 10.7.2

I have all the original packaging, disks, and literature, including the two white apple stickers.

Any thoughts? Comments? Snide remarks?

i would say closer to $400.

I would tend to agree with you, but I'd start at $550 or so on Craigslist - the 500 GB hard drive adds value, especially given how expensive hard drives are at the moment. And it sounds like it is in terrific condition.
