Hi all, now that my Apple warranty is gone I swapped out my hard drive for a 500Gb WD Black drive and 6 Gb of RAM (up from 4 Gb), all from OWC, on 17 inch MBP. The drive works great. not too loud and it is fast.
As for the RAM, since I use Fusion with 64 bit Win7 to run MS Project and MS Visio, I allocated 2.7Gb for win 7 and everything appear to be running fine. No longer struggling to run two OS' at the same time. But I just installed the RAM... Now for my question:
Is anyone who has an early 2008 MBP with 6 Gb of RAM having any issues or performance problems since you upgraded the RAM? If so, where/how?
