Hi. Not sure what's going on but my iTunes will randomly open and play songs. I'm on mountain lion with the latest iTunes 11. It just started a couple days ago. The computer has been shutdown and rebooted but it still does it. Any suggestions?

You mean it opens up when you startup, that is normal if iTunes was open before, or, it might be a bug in the OS, I for instance get something weird as well, two instances of System Preferences will open in my root user?

I mean I'll be watching Hulu for example then iTunes will randomly open and start playing. Even if I close it, minutes later it'll do it again. :/ weird

Must be some kind of link, if the Mac is idle, like you don't do anything is this still happening, if not there must be something in the other Apps which opens iTunes.

Maybe something to do with the keyboard? There are those play/pause/ff/rewind function keys. Could be you got something stuck under one of them, or a short.
