Hey guys, was hoping someone could help me out!

What are the specs?
Early 2008 Macbook (white)
2.4GHz
2GB RAM (upgraded to 2 x 2GB DDR2 from Crucial about 8 months ago with no problems till recent)
160GB HD (upgraded to 240GB SanDisk SSD PLUS about 8 months ago with no problems till recent)

Backstory
After coming back to my Macbook after about an hour since I last used it, I noticed that the display was frozen and completely unresponsive to anything I did. I forced the machine to power down not thinking much about it.

When I tried powering the machine back on I noticed that the display stayed black, there was no start-up chime, and the SSD made no noise. Also, the indicator on the front just slowly pulsated on and off as if the machine was asleep. Odd, but sometimes the old guy is cranky and takes time to wake up so I just let it sit for a couple hours and figured I would try again later.

Fast forward a couple hours later after trying all the possible reset combinations I could find online, the machine is open and I'm making sure everything seems normal looking. I put everything back together and was greeted with something new.

When I try booting up the Macbook,
- The SSD gives me slow start up noise compared to normal
- If the Crucial RAM is installed, I get one beep every 5 seconds indicating there is no RAM detected
- If the original RAM is installed, I get 3 beeps that indicate the RAM doesn't pass a data integrity check

Recently having bought an iPad Pro, I'm not in a major need/rush for a new machine. So if you guys have any troubleshooting tips for the Macbook I'd appreciate them! Wouldn't mind getting a little more use out of it despite this most likely being the logic board. Thanks.
