I have 10.7.2 on my late 2008 unibody Macbook, and since the upgrade to Lion I've noticed some issues on wake up from sleep. I haven't found any threads about this particular issue.

The trackpad is responsive, in that the cursor moves; however I can't seem to click on anything or type for a while after the system comes up. Even from a cold boot I see similar behavior. Once it gets to the login screen I can move the cursor but not actually log in?!?

Just on a lark, and because RAM is so cheap I upgraded that box to 8GB, but that doesn't seem to have had any impact on this. Before that I did a clean install of Lion and reset my SMC.

Any clues? Is this something that might be alleviated with an SSD upgrade? The 2.4 GHz Core 2 Duo seems plenty fast in every other respect. I don't see this on my late 2009 MBP (2.8 GHz).
