2009 15" Macbook Pro or 2011 13" Macbook Pro

I'm considering getting a used macbook pro and I've come accross these 2 models: a 2009 15" 2.53ghz Core 2 duo with nVidia 9600gt MBP, and a 2011 13" 2.3ghz Core i3 with Intel hd 3000 MBP. I'm not sure which one would be "better".

I'll be using this computer to watch downloaded HD videos, gaming (Amnesia, The Sims, GTA, etc), note taking, web browsing, and the occasional RAW image editing with photoshop.

The difference in screen size isn't an issue for me. The main problem is basically Core 2 Duo + nVidia 9600m GT vs Core i3 + Intel 3000. I honestly don't need the top of the line hardware, mostly because I'm migrating from an old Pentium PC.

2009 is soo old go with 13 and later buy a monitor.

If you need the screen estate, I say go for the 15". If you don't, stick with the 13", possibly works better with upcoming technology (i.e. Thunderbolt).
