Ok so I bought a 17” 2009 MacBook Pro it was sold as non working and turned out to have a water damaged section under the left speaker. When powered it boots and gets to desktop but no backlight.
I’ve already found a blown fuse f9800, a blown 0 ohm resistor(r9730) going into u9700 and a scorch mark on the LVDS connector, the pins look like they will make contact but the screen looked flicker with incorrect colours shining a light through the Apple emblem.
I’ve ordered a new fuse and resistor, is there anything else I should be looking for that commonly goes with the above parts?
