I noticed whenever I restart my Mac now the screen gets glitches all across but when I boot into OS X I'm fine. Occasionally I'll get glitches here and there while I'm working but still kind of annoying nonetheless.
I'm kind of thinking this is a warning sign (started happening about 4 months ago) and have been getting the "You need to restart your computer" message with the big power button icon in the background.
Seems like the solution was to install a firmware update but that's already installed and I'm still getting it.
Model Name: iMac
Model Identifier: iMac11,1
Processor Name: Intel Core i7
Chipset Model: ATI Radeon HD 4850
VRAM (Total): 512 MB
Anybody know if this is something that's fixable or will they replace my iMac? It's still under AppleCare.
