I have never owned an apple (anything, I don't even have an iPod), but I am starting grad school and need a new laptop - so I am going to get a macbook, the unibody i guess, and since it's already mid-may, I think I may wait until June for the back to school promo. I have a few questions for anyone who has the patience...Does anyone know if it's definitely going to run this year? Does it start at the beginning of June? Should I assume nothing or possibly that it will be a rebate for an iPod touch again? Does it apply to undergrads only or have a certain age limit for 'students'? I know they come out with new stuff at that WWDC, does the promo apply to new models only? I assume it doesn't apply to refurbished macbooks? I guess that's it. Thanks for any info...

Nobody outside of Apple, but it's a fairly safe bet.

Usually around then.

Something of that nature.

You have to be in or entering into college. High school students don't qualify.

Right- only to new units. No refurbs.
