2009 Mac mini - HDD always doing SOMETHING!

Hello people!.

I have a 2009 Mac mini, running 10.5.8... and the HDD seems to be crunching away at "something" about 80% of the time, and I am thinking what on *earth* could it be doing, nearly ALWAYS, which requires disk access?.

It could just be that the default drive is noisy... but it wasn't like this when I bought it new. What can I clean up, etc?.

Check with Activity Monitor that is it being used all the time

I found out what was causing it - an error sheet popped up, saying I only had 200Mb left on my startup drive!


Soon fixed that!
