2009 Mac Pro do Crossfire with 2X 4870 ?

I am curious if the 2009 Mac Pro with (2) ATI 4870 cards in bootcamp under vista64 . I hope that it does Xfire becasue i need to get the HELL out of my normal desktop but need the power to game on my 30" monitor. thanks in advance.

You'd need an external power supply to do this. It is not conceivably impossible that CrossFire wouldn't work.

Why not just buy a Bloomfield desktop instead of wasting your money on the Mac Pro?

What do you mean? You can't run two 4870 in the Mac Pro without a second power supply.

CrossFire should be possible.

A Bloomfield PC desktop would be nearly two thousand cheaper than a Mac Pro with two 4870.
