I hope that it does Xfire becasue i need to get the HELL out of my normal desktop but need the power to game on my 30" monitor. thanks in advance.

You can't run two 4870 in the Mac Pro without a second power supply. CrossFire should be possible. A Bloomfield PC desktop would be nearly two thousand cheaper than a Mac Pro with two 4870.
